KIEV, July 15 – For the first time since January, Ukraine has seen a surplus in its foreign trade in goods, as its exports in May 2013 exceeded imports by $179.8 million, while in May 2012 there had a deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods estimated at $1.328 billion, according to the State Statistics Service.
Exports in May 2013, which had the largest number of bank holidays this year, fell by 16.5% from May 2012, to $5.22 billion, while imports plunged by 33.5%, to $5.04 billion.
