KIEV, July 3 - Vitaliy Khomutynnik, a pro-government (Regions) MP who heads the parliamentary committee for tax and customs has called for the excise duties on all types of alcohol and cigarettes to be increased.

"We propose that [the excise duties] on all types of alcohol and cigarettes are increased in equal parts from 15% to 30%, so not to have distortions and have the single [excise duty] policy," he said at a meeting of the coordination board of heads of parliamentary factions and committees in Kiev on Monday.
