KIEV, June 18 – The volume of construction in Ukraine fell by 29.1% year-on-year in May, and the fall in April 2013 stood at 21.7% on April 2012, the State Statistics Service reported on Monday.
The State Statistics Service said that growth in May 2013 was 4.2% on April 2013, while in April it was 5.2% on March 2013.
In January-May 2013 the volume of construction came to UAH 18.161 billion, which is 17.8% down year-over-year, while in January-April 2013 the fall was 13.8%, according to revised data (earlier it was reported that the decline was 16.2%).
