KHARKIV, June 12 - Preparatory work to create the Neutron Source nuclear facility based on the sub-critical assembly driven by an electron accelerator has been finished at the National Science Center Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology (the KIPT), of Kharkiv Regional Administration First Deputy Chairman Valentyn Dulub said.
"All general engineering preparation work has been fully completed… Today we have a feasibility study of the project approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, and the project for building the nuclear facility at the KIPT was approved at a cabinet meeting last week. When the project is[finally] approved, we can start building the body and then assemble the equipment, which is arriving to Ukraine from China, Germany, France and the United States," he said at an online conference on Monday.
