KIEV, June 12 – The government has approved a procedure for using the average market price of cars, motorcycles and motor bikes to determine the income of individuals from their sale (exchange) for the further collection of taxes.

This is stipulated in cabinet resolution No. 403 of April 10, which was published in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper on Tuesday.

According to the document, the average market price depends on the term of exploitation of the vehicle and the country of manufacturer (the CIS of other countries), the mileage and the difference between the actual and normal average annual mileage. The average annual mileage for vehicles made in the CIS is 22,000 kilometers and that for cars made by other countries – 27,000 kilometers.
