KIEV, June 6 - Energy Community Secretariat Director Janez Kopac has said that as the practice of recent years shows, Gazprom does not observe the generally used rules of the European Union, so the transfer of the Ukrainian gas transport system to it could result in negative consequences.

"There are fears that on becoming the owner of the Ukrainian GTS, the Russian company would start dictating its own rules and procedures… and it's unlikely that it will allow a third party to manage the system," he said in an interview with Uriadovy Kurier newspaper.
