IVANO-FRANKIVSK, May 22 – The full independence of Subsidiary Potash Fertilizer Plant from OJSC Oriana (Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region) will allow investment to be attracted to resume the production of potash fertilizers, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration head Mykhailo Vyshyvaniuk said.
"I think that it would be right if the potash fertilizer plant was separated from Oriana. The State Property Fund should separate it, and the cabinet will issue a resolution. When the plant is separated, we could start developing it. When an investor comes and sees the large amount of debts they have, everyone raises their hands and say: we don't want it, even free of charge," he said at an offsite meeting of the parliamentary committee for ecological policy in Yaremche in Ivano-Frankivsk region on Monday.
