KIEV, May 20 – Luhanskteplovoz, owned by Russia's Transmashholding, plans by 2017 to supply 300 freight AC/DC locomotives to Ukrzaliznytsia. The preliminary total cost of the locomotives is around UAH 12 billion.

The company said that the agreement was reached at a meeting headed by of Ukrzaliznytsia First Deputy Director General Mykola Serhiyenko on May 16. Heads of Ukrainian transport engineering enterprises also took part in the meeting.
