KIEV, May 17 - Ukraine will receive the first shipment of liquefied natural gas in the fourth quarter of 2014, a top official handling construction of LNG terminal said Friday, citing an optimistic scenario.
In a realistic scenario, the shipment is expected in the first quarter of 2015, Serhiy Yevtushenko, the head of the LNG Terminal project, said.
“Here is the optimistic scenario: the sea-based platform FSRU at the Pivdenniy port will start operation in the fourth quarter of 2014,” Yevtushenko said. “In the realistic scenario: the first quarter of 2015.”
