KIEV, April 25 - Ukraine will not be making any massive purchases of Russian natural gas during the next several months, Yevhen Bakulin, the head of the national energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny, said Thursday.

Ukraine will wait and see whether the Russian company agrees to reduce its gas prices, he said, adding that if Gazprom fails to do so, Ukraine would increase imports of gas from elsewhere.
