KIEV, April 12 – The government approved a memorandum with Russian oil major Lukoil aimed at restarting its petrochemical unit in Ukraine, the government reported in a statement on Friday.
The unit, known as KarpatNaftoKhim, was shut down in August 2012 for an upgrade, but had never restarted with the Russian company citing high oil prices as the reason.
