KIEV, April 9 – The Supreme Military Court of Tripoli (Libya) will begin on April 10 hearing an appeal against the decision to sentence 19 Ukrainians to 10 years in prison, Ukrainian News reported Tuesday.

"In order to ensure protection of the rights of the Ukrainians and their defense during the appeal, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Ukraine in Libya have hired qualified lawyers and translators and implemented a set of measures aimed at gathering evidence in favor of our compatriots," Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a news briefing.
