MOSCOW, April 5 - The Russian Pipe Industry Development Fund denies a report that the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus are not holding talks with Ukraine on the revision of the current agreement which regulates supplies of some types of Ukrainian steel pipes, the acting director of FRTP, Alexander Chumakov, told Interfax.
"The fund has not received an official notification, and it was strange to read this report," Chumakov said, commenting on news about the achieving of an agreement on the change of the format of the agreement with regard to replacing quotas with price obligations.
The rules of the World Trade Organization, which Russia has joined and Kazakhstan is joining, allow antidumping measures only in the form of duties or price restrictions.
