KIEV, March 11 - The Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on March 12 will decide on the issue of EUR 300 million to Ukraine within a comprehensive program for enhancing safety at Ukraine's nuclear power plants, the bank said.
"On March 12, the EBRD Board of Directors will decide on the bank's participation in a comprehensive program for enhancing safety at Ukraine's nuclear power plants, which is designed to achieve the highest safety standards of the international level," reads a statement.
The Cabinet of Ministers has declared it reasonable for EnergoAtom to raise a loan of EUR 600 million from the EBRD and Euratom to implement a comprehensive program to improve the safety of Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
