KIEV, March 4 - An explosion in Kiev near the office of prominent Ukrainian businessman Vadym Rabynovych, who is also co-chairman of the European Jewish Parliament and president of the Pan-Ukrainian Jewish Congress, did not cause fatalities or injuries, but Rabynovych's Lexus was damaged, Kiev police reported.
Reports said earlier that the explosion occurred at 3:36 p.m. Sunday. Volodymyr Katsman, ex-editor of the Stolichniye Novosti newspaper, said it was an attempt on Rabynovych's life and that the bomb had been thrown at the car as Rabynovych was leaving the courtyard.
