KIEV, Feb. 6 - Ukraine dismissed as “unjust” a $7 billion penalty recently imposed by Russian gas giant Gazprom for natural gas it failed to import in 2012, President Viktor Yanukovych said Wednesday.

Yanukovych made the comment after a meeting with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė in Vilnius, as parties focused on cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union.
