KIEV, Jan. 9 - A sea-based natural gas drilling rig, purchased by Ukrainian oil and gas company ChornomorNaftoGaz for $400 million, arrived in Ukraine in late December, the company reported Wednesday.

The rig, named Nezalezhnist, or Independence, is now being prepared for operation and will shortly be delivered to Odesske offshore natural gas field to start drilling, the company said.
