KIEV, Dec. 10 - Ukraine is trying to revive negotiations with Korean Gas Corporation, or KoGas, over construction of a $1 billion liquefied natural gas terminal following a Spanish company’s recent denial of involvement in the project.
Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Boyko met two senior executives of KoGas to discuss the LNG project, the ministry reported in a statement on Monday.
“The parties expressed hope for further cooperation in the project,” the ministry said in the statement.
