KIEV, Dec. 7 – The price of electricity for households consuming over 800 kilowatt-hours of electricity per month could be increased in 2013, said Serhiy Tytenko, who heads Ukraine’s National Commission for Energy Regulation.
"[The increase in the prices of electricity] for certain groups [depending on the consumption volume] could be seen," he told reporters in Kiev.
Tytenko said that next year the tariffs could be increased only for the group of households that consumes over 800 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month, while for households consuming less the tariffs will be retained at the present level.
