KIEV, Dec. 6 - Ukraine’s biggest farming land owner, Ukrlandfarming, plans to build 30 bio-gas producing plants in 18 of the country’s regions within the next three years, the company reported Thursday.
The project, which is estimated to cost $1.15 billion, is aimed at producing bio-gas that will be used by fossil fuel burning power plants, according to Volodymyr Dmytrenko, the company’s chief engineer.
