MOSCOW, Nov. 9 - Ukraine will see a reduction in the price it pays for Russian gas if it joins the Customs Union, Russian Foreign Ministry First Department of CIS Countries Director Mikhail Yevdokimov said at a Friday briefing in Moscow.
"This is nothing new. Export duties have been cancelled within the Customs Union. Accordingly, the gas price will be lower," he said.
Yevdokimov added that if Ukraine joins the Customs Union there would be no special discount for gas.
