KIEV, Nov. 6 – Serhiy Liovochkin, the powerful chief of staff at President Viktor Yanukovych’s administration, on Tuesday denied reports that he may be dismissed for failing to prevent election fraud.
“I will reply with Mark Twain’s words,” Liovochkin told Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper. “The rumors of my dismissal are too premature.”
The reports circulating across blogosphere and social networks suggested that Yanukovych may have decided to put blame on Liovochkin for alleged massive election fraud at majority districts.
