KIEV, Oct. 29 – The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar on the interbank forex market on Monday fell to UAH 8.1800 from UAH 8.1675 per U.S. dollar registered on Friday, October 26.

As Interfax-Ukraine learned from dealers at commercial banks, the reaction of the interbank forex market to the parliamentary election was slight: quotations on that market when trading started on Monday were UAH 8.1720-8.1880 per U.S. dollar, and narrowed to UAH 8.1750-8.1850 per U.S. dollar by the end of the day.
