KIEV, Oct. 18 - Ukraine’s No. 2 ferroalloy producer, Zaporizhia Ferroalloy Plant (ZFP), plans to boost ferroalloy output by 60% next year after the government agreed to lower power tariffs, Zaporizhia regional administration reported Wednesday.
ZFP, which currently works at about 50% of its capacity, plans to resume operation of three ferroalloy furnaces by the end of this year, the administration reported citing ZPF technical director Oleh Bespalov.
