KIEV, Oct. 4 - Ukraine’s second deep-water self-elevating oil and gas drilling rig, Nezalezhnist, passed through Bosporus Strait to enter the Black Sea before reaching the country later this year, ChornomorNaftogaz reported on Thursday.

The passage through the strait was challenging as crew had to dissemble parts of the rig for safety reasons, the company said. The rig is currently heading towards the Turkish port of Giresun for complete assembly before it can depart for Ukraine.
