KIEV, Sept. 13 - Ukraine and Turkey will seek to decide if they can join forces in building a liquefied natural gas terminal, President Viktor Yanukovych said Thursday.
Both Ukraine and Turkey planned to build their own LNG terminals to diversify imports of energy, but the two governments will now investigate if it makes sense to join the forces and build one.
Turkish Prime Minister Yayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Ukraine on Thursday, suggested that joining forces may be a way to save while building the terminal and make it more profitable.
