KIEV, Aug. 31 – The Ukrainian government wants the state budget for 2013 to be based on realistic figures, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.
"The budget should be realistic and it should not [be influenced by] the elections or any other political situation," he said in an interview with Channel 5 television.
When asked whether the mission of the International Monetary Fund that is currently in Ukraine will help the government prepare the draft state budget for next year, Azarov said: "I need no advisers to make a realistic budget. We ourselves want it to be realistic."
