KIEV, Aug. 7 - Schlumberger and JKX Oil & Gas (JKX), a British oil and gas company with assets in Ukraine, have signed a contract to perform fracture stimulation operations on well R103 at the Rudenkovskoye field in Poltava to produce gas and gas condensate.
According to a JKX statement published on the London Stock Exchange's website, its subsidiary Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC) signed the contract in its name. PPC owns four licenses to develop oil and gas deposits at the Novo-Mykolayivsky complex in the Poltava region covering 271 square kilometers of land, as well as three permits to develop the Zaplavsky, Yelizavetovsky and Chervonoyarsky-Skhidny deposits, covering 171.2 square km.
