KIEV, July 19 – The government has given up the idea of canceling value added tax on imports of crude oil to Ukraine for processing at Ukrainian oil refineries, according to Volodymyr Makukha, the deputy energy and coal industry ministry.
"The Finance Ministry and the Economy Ministry have criticized [the tax-free imports], and we've decided that the issue is to be withdrawn, as they don't support us," he told reporters in Kiev on Wednesday.
