KIEV, July 18 - Gazprom and other Russian companies might take part in the privatization of state-owned stakes in city and regional gas supply and gasification companies, State Property Fund chief Oleksandr Riabchenko said.
"Taking into account our experience of privatization in the electricity sector, those will stand in the front line who are currently working on this market, have stakes in similar companies and experience of work. Secondly, I think foreigners might be interested. Of course, Gazprom and other Russian companies, which understand how to do business with Ukrainian regional gas companies, stand first among the foreigners," he said in an interview with Radio Svoboda.
