KIEV, July 11 - Ukraine and Russia at a summit Thursday will discuss plans for creating a trilateral joint venture to operate the country’s massive natural gas transportation system moving Russian gas to the European Union.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is due to arrive in Ukraine on Thursday for talks over natural gas and a range of other issues with his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych.
