KIEV, June 11 – The introduction of floating excise duties for fuel in the conditions of a sharp fall in oil prices could cause negative consequences for the domestic market, according to Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
"When the price of oil sharply grew, we proposed the idea of a floating excise duty and now we're wondering if the present situation leads to the serious rise in excise duty and instability on the fuel market," he said at a meeting with experts on the discussion of the import replacement program in Kiev on June 8, 2012.
