KIEV, June 6 - Russian President Vladimir Putin will probably travel to Ukraine on July 12 for a range of energy and economic talks, President Viktor Yanukovych said Wednesday.
Putin and Yanukovych met in Moscow on May 15, their first meeting after Putin’s inauguration to the presidency, but had failed to make progress in talks on lowering prices for Russian natural gas.
“The next meeting of the Inter-State Commission chaired by the presidents is scheduled on July 12,” Yanukovych said, his press service reported. “It will most likely take place in Crimea.”
