KIEV, June 6 - Inflation in Ukraine could accelerate at the end of 2012, as the country's consumer market, in contrast to the previous year, will not have much support in the form of a large harvest, International Monetary Fund Resident Representative in Ukraine Max Alier said.
"We can say that perhaps closer to the end of the year, inflation will accelerate as the observed decrease [in the price dynamics] to a record low rate was associated with a record high harvest last year," he said at a panel discussion in Kiev on Tuesday.
