KIEV, June 5 – The chief department of the National Bank of Ukraine for Kiev and the surrounding region is ready to quickly satisfy the demand of banks for the national currency at their request (banknotes and coins of all denominations) in the period of hosting the Euro 2012 European football championship, reads a telegram to banks.

The department asked the banks to carry out supporting transactions and withdraw extra cash hryvnias in advance, put banknotes with face values of UAH 1-100 into circulation and every day monitor cash availability at ATMs, and load cash to ATMs in time.
