KIEV, May 24 - Ukraine will make sure that Chevron and other foreign companies investing in the country’s shale gas sector enjoy the most favorable status, a senior official said Thursday.

First Deputy Prime Minister Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy, who met top Chevron officials in Kiev, said the government will seek to encourage large foreign investments in the energy sector.
