KIEV, April 24 – The removal by Russia of restrictions on its imports of Ukrainian cheese will not cause a rise in the price of cheese and an increase in purchasing prices for milk in Ukraine, according to market experts.
"Prices fall when there's a surplus of milk. So I think that the opening of the Russian market will by no means influence a rise in prices [for milk]. It can stop the decline in purchase prices, but it will in no case raise them this summer," Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine Vadym Chaharovsky told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
