CHISINAU, April 9 – A contract on the supply electricity between Moldova's Energokom and Ukraine's DTEK Power Trade was signed on April 6, 2012.

As INFOTAG news agency reported, citing a report of Energokom, the document foresees the prolongation of electricity supplies from Ukraine to Moldova until late 2012.

The report says that the volume of imported electricity is enough to cover the needs of Red Nord and Red Nord-Vest in northern Moldova.
