KIEV, March 19 - Ukraine's parliament has given preliminary approval to a ban on smoking at sports, dining, cultural facilities and the entryways of houses.

324 MPs voted at first reading for the bill "On amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning improvement of definite statements on restrictions on places to smoke.”
