KIEV, March 12 – Three waste treatment plants to treat waste from the capital will be built in Kiev region by 2014, said Oleksandr Mazurchak first deputy head of Kiev City Administration.
"We plan for the plants to be built in two or three years. I think that in 2014 all three plants will start operating. Some plants could be launched earlier, as they are standard plants, of a modular type," he said.
Mazurchak said that the plants would be built as a part of the Clean City national project being realized by the State Agency for Investment and National Project Management of Ukraine.
