KIEV, Feb. 13 - Municipal heating companies paid only 24% of the required sum to Naftogaz Ukrayiny for gas consumed in January, Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Blyzniuk, said during a telephone conference in Kiev.

He said that municipal heating companies in January consumed gas worth UAH 2.454 billion, and only UAH 597.4 million was paid for.
