KIEV, Jan. 20 – The Association of Ukrainian Banks said it opposes regulatory initiatives of the Interior Ministry that it fears would lead to the monopolization of the bank security guard market.

According to a press release of the AUB, the initiatives of Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko regarding the transfer of commercial bank security only to the State Security Service at the Interior Ministry were discussed at a meeting of the council for bank security at the AUB.
