KIEV, Jan. 17 – President Viktor Yanukovych is planning to participate in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland), and most of the president's meetings will be dedicated to energy issues, his spokesperson, Darya Chepak, said.
"The Ukrainian president is planning to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos. The president will participate in the events of the Energy Summit as part of the WEF, in particular, in sessions entitled 'Energy for Economic Growth' and 'New Energy Architecture: Possible and Effective Transformation,' which will be held January 26 and 27. As part of this working visit, Yanukovych is planning to have bilateral meetings with the leaders of states and international organizations. The president will also attend a plenary session of the World Economic Forum entitled 'The Future of Eurasia' and a traditional Ukrainian lunch conference," Chepak told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
