KIEV, Dec. 3 – President Viktor Yanukovych damped down speculation he would attend a meeting in Moscow on Dec. 19 and snub a summit with EU officials scheduled for the same date.

When asked by Ukrainian journalists in Jerusalem on Thursday where he plans to be on Dec. 19 - at the Ukraine-EU summit in Kiev or at the EurAsEC summit in Moscow - Yanukovych said: "As for December 19, of course, this is not our game - comparing these two events. Of course, we will be represented at the EurAsEC meeting as observers, and some officials will work there."
