KIEV, Nov. 14 - The government asked lawmakers to postpone debate over the 2012 budget until an agreement is reached with Russia over lowering natural gas prices, a senior pro-government lawmaker said Monday.

Oleksandr Yefremov, the leader of the Regions Party group in Parliament, said other important legislation, such as an outline of 2012 economic reform program, will also be postponed.
