KIEV, Nov. 7 – First Deputy Prime Minister and Economic Development and Trade Minister Andriy Kliuyev has ordered the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry urgently to hold a meeting and draw up a program to increase hydrocarbon extraction and oil refining.

"[The ministry is ordered] to hold a meeting on oil refining and hydrocarbon extraction. [The ministry] is to present a program to me on how we'll bring these sectors out of crisis," he said at a meeting at the Economic Development and Trade Ministry in Kiev.

Kliuyev said that the meeting is to be held by December. He promised extensive support at the interstate level to settle the issues of the supply with oil and operation of Ukrainian oil refineries.
