KIEV, Oct. 21 - Activ Solar has completed construction of its Okhotnykove solar power plant in Crimea, with total capacity of 80 MW after completion of a new 20-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant, the company said Friday.

Okhotnykove, which is the largest solar photovoltaic plant in Eastern and Central Europe, will be producing around 100,000 megawatt hours of power annually, which is enough to supply green power to 20,000 households, and will help to cut carbon dioxide emissions by 80,000 mt per year, the company said.
