KIEV, Oct. 21 – Donetsk-based Wind Power company, which is part of the DTEK group, has started the construction of the Botyevska wind power plant in Zaporizhia region.
"We have already started the construction. We have commenced to build a control center. The most up-to-date in Zaporizhia region central distribution substation and transformer substation will be located nearby. That is the beginning," said Wind Power director Yurii Zhabskyi.
In turn, the National Electricity Regulation Commission at its meeting on Thursday agreed the distribution of funds in the framework of the investment program of Zaporizhiaoblenerho, and as a result the company will manage to construct the electricity line with the capacity of 6 kilovolt to the site where the wind power plant will be located.
