KIEV, Oct. 19 – The free trade pact signed between Ukraine and other CIS states does not impede Ukraine’s conclusion of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area Agreement with the European Union, the delegation of the European Union to Ukraine said in a statement on its Facebook page.
"The CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States), including Ukraine, are free to conclude trade agreements in accordance with their economic priorities - including other Free Trade Agreements... Accordingly, this FTA in itself does not impact directly on our bilateral trade relations with these countries," the statement said.
