KIEV, Oct. 13 – The National Bank of Ukraine, as a part of its efforts to combat money laundering, is pushing banks to stir up correspondence with clients in order identify banking service consumers.

"The banks can ensure the observation of a requirement of a resolution on the identification of clients… through sending invitations to clients to visit a bank to identify themselves," reads an NBU letter to banks.
